We believe in advocacy, capacity building, and collaboration. 

BGEN supports public policies that benefit the development of women and girls by creating awareness of current gender specific policy issues. We marshal support to push through gender specific bills and prepare and present an annual "Girls Trend Report" to inform city and state gender programming standard, that ultimately uplift women and girls. 

We are passionate about helping girl and women-serving organizations build the training & technical assistance necessary to offer effective gender-responsive practices.

BGEN works to promote connections and strengthen ongoing working relationships among organizations that serve women and girls.

Our fellow organizations have access to gender-responsive training and certification in girls adolescent development, effective program design, emerging gender issues, cultural competence, and female leadership development.
